1. What is Polarys Succeed?
Polarys Succeed is a completely holistic school improvement system. Following the program will allow a school to:
→ Identify genuine opportunities to improve across the entire school, not just a few measures of student performance, like exam scores and graduation rates
→ Create agreement among core staff members
→ Identify greatest opportunities for “bang for your buck”
→ Learn from “True Peer Schools” which serve demographically-similar populations, maximizing the opportunities to truly share best practices with schools that serve students just like yours
Polarys Succeed participants receive training, unique tools and materials that result in a complete school improvement plan that zeroes in on your most important goals.
2. How is Polarys Succeed different from other school improvement programs?
Focuses on empowering school leaders
Most school improvement programs focus on narrowly defined measures of success and/or compliance with regulations or standards. Polarys Succeed puts school leaders in the driver’s seat – allowing them to focus on what is most important to the school community.
Looks beyond the obvious
Polarys Succeed allows the local school-improvement team to broaden its purview to any aspect of the school: financial management, physical plant, student safety, climate, parental involvement and any other dimension of success that is important to the community.
REAL data analysis, not just pretty graphs
Polarys Succeed helps local personnel learn to analyze vast quantities of data to identify major leverage points that will allow schools to be successful in change-making in shorter periods of time, with greater efficiency.
Sees you through the whole improvement cycle
We’re with you every step of the way. Not only does Polarys Succeed guide you through developing your action plans, it also builds in progress monitoring tools and teaches you how to shift course in real-time. Unlike one-size-fits-all solutions, a Polarys Succeed plan alerts you when things are or are not working, so you can adjust in real time, keeping staff confidence high and saving crucial dollars.
3. What will we get, when we sign up for Polarys Succeed?

4. Do we have to follow the program to the letter?
We believe effective school leaders must be trusted to lead. That’s why we’ve built Polarys Succeed to be highly flexible – so you can integrate it into your unique school and team. That said, the more closely a school follows the process, the more likely it is to see the benefits of using it.
