Co-founder David Adler’s experience is diverse and rare for an educator. He has degrees in education and advanced theoretical mathematics. Having worked in education for almost 20 years, he also has experience as a cryptographer, technical writer and statistics professor. David uses his background to bring a fresh perspective to educational administration.
As the principal of a chronically-underperforming charter school in Springfield, MA, he brought data-driven reforms that resulted in the largest standardized test score gains in the history of Massachusetts. As a curriculum director in a Vermont Supervisory Union, he has brought nimble, efficient programs that improve effectiveness and lower costs.
David is currently completing his doctoral thesis on creating measures of school effectiveness that improve accuracy and are more useful to educators. His work has been well received across the country.
